The winners of The Junipers 2020 – New Zealand’s Gin Awards – have been revealed, with Hayman’s London Dry Gin taking out Best In Show.
Sponsored by Super Liquor, The Junipers were created as a response to the explosion of the gin category in recent years.
Gins from New Zealand and around the world were invited to be entered into one of seven gin categories: Classic Dry, Contemporary, Matured, Old Tom, Old Navy, Flavoured Gin and a New Zealand category.
More than 150 entries were received and judged by a panel of esteemed New Zealand gin distillers, writers and industry experts.
“The gin category has seen significant growth in recent years with gin distillers consistently creating new and exciting gins in New Zealand and overseas,” says Bryan Cherry, Marketing and Merchandising Manager for Super Liquor Holdings.
“This is an opportunity to showcase brands, increase awareness to consumers and a chance to promote an award winning brands in New Zealand. Congratulations to all of the medal winners this year.”

Best In Show HAYMAN’S LONDON DRY GIN After beating off stiff competition, Hayman’s London Dry Gin took home the first ever Best in Show Winner.
